I use cotton pads to cleanse my face as part of my nightly routine, and I’ve really come to like the MUJI cut cotton pads. One issue I have run into though, is that all of the organizers in the bath section of ikea or other homegoods stores are only made for the round cotton pads, like this cotton pad rounds holder.

Solution

One of the great things about being a Lego enthusiast is that you can make whatever you want for your home organization needs, even if you can’t find them commercially! I figured that with a few simple Lego bricks I could actually build exactly the item I wanted! I knew for sure I would want the following features:

• Clear sides (so I can see when it’s running low from any angle)
• Smooth floor (so cotton doesn’t get stuck on studs on the bottom)
• Cut-away front so it’s easy to grab a cotton even when the stack is running
• low.

Based on these I started playing around with some basic Legos and this is what I came up with!

As you can see it perfectly fits the cotton rectangles from MUJI!

I’ve also included a schematic from Lego Digital Designer in case any other LEGO/MUJI fan runs into the same problem! Enjoy!
